Hyde is looking to recruit a Gas Engineer.

As a Gas Engineer at Hyde you will be working within Property Services to provide a responsive and professional gas installations service to residents ensuring all work sites are adequately protected and maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Service and repair of domestic gas appliances (i. e. gas boilers, fires)
  • Perform routine maintenance checks
  • Maintain and monitor the supply, stock and use of materials
  • Participate in the ‘out of hours’ service delivery on a rota basis (Currently every 1 in 5weeks)
  • Act as a liaison between residents and internal teams to ensure any property-related issues are highlighted and resolved promptly
  • Raise any non-compliance or process failures with managers.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous experience as a gas engineer
  • Great customer service skills
  • Essential qualifications: CCN1, CKR1, CENWAT, HTR1
  • Previous domestic or social housing experience
  • Desirable but not essential – Unvented Hot Water Systems.
