As a Plumber, you’ll be working in our customers' homes carrying out day-to-day repairs and maintenance, delivering an exceptional customer service.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Carrying out multi-trade repairs, with a primary focus on plumbing, while undertaking a range of general maintenance tasks as required.
  • Diagnosing and resolving day-to-day plumbing repairs including leaks, blockages, taps, toilets, sinks, baths, showers, pipework, waste systems and minor drainage issues.
  • Completing plumbing repairs and associated works to kitchens, bathrooms and other areas of customers' homes to a high standard.
  • Undertaking associated works such as sealing, patch plastering, minor tiling, replacing fixtures and fittings, and making good after repairs.
  • Working independently to manage your own workload while collaborating with other trades on more complex repairs and projects.
  • Accurately recording work completed, materials used, and updating progress through work orders and reporting systems.
  • Delivering excellent customer service and keeping residents informed throughout the repair process.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with Hyde's health and safety policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
  • Providing a professional, friendly service to customers in their homes.

What we’re looking for:

  • Solid experience across plumbing with the ability to undertake other general maintenance and multi-trade repairs.
  • Confident using hand and power tools.
  • Able to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude.
  • Physically fit and happy with hands-on work.
  • Experience working in social housing is a bonus.
  • A full, valid UK driving licence.
