Hyde is looking for an experienced Multi Trader to join our busy maintenance team. If you’re a hands‑on tradesperson who can turn your hand to a range of jobs and takes pride in doing things properly, we’d like to hear from you. As a Multi Trader at Hyde, you’ll be working in our homes carrying out day‑to‑day repairs and maintenance, being trusted to get jobs done right the first time and to treat our customers with respect in their homes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out multi‑trade repairs including carpentry, plumbing, plastering and general maintenance
- Fixing day‑to‑day issues such as doors, kitchens, bathrooms, leaks, walls and flooring
- Completing patch plastering, minor tiling, painting and similar finishing works
- Working on your own jobs but also alongside other trades when needed
- Following work orders and reporting back on progress and materials used
- Working safely at all times and following Hyde’s health and safety procedures
- Providing a professional, friendly service to customers in their homes
What We’re Looking For
- Solid experience across multiple trades, especially carpentry, plumbing and plastering
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload
- A practical problem‑solver who can spot issues and fix them properly
- Good communication skills and a customer‑friendly attitude
- Physically fit and happy with hands‑on work
- Experience working in social housing is a bonus
- A full, valid UK driving licence
