As a Service Charge Officer at Hyde, you’ll play a key role in delivering clear and accurate service charge statements, from estimates through to final accounts. You’ll be a trusted point of contact for customers, guiding them confidently through the service charge process and managing cases end to end. This is a great opportunity to build strong customer relationships while ensuring transparency, accuracy and a positive experience throughout the service charge cycle.
Responsibilities
- Handle service charge enquiries, providing friendly, professional, and customer-focused support.
- Manage the full case process from start to finish, including investigation, communication, and delivering clear responses.
- Prepare easy-to-understand breakdowns and summaries of service charges for customers.
- Meet with customers, residents’ associations, and other stakeholders—both virtually and in person—to explain and discuss service charges.
- Calculate and produce accurate service charge statements, including both estimates and actual charges.
- Contribute to improving service charge processes and help ensure a smooth, transparent experience for all customers.
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience in service charge calculations and management.
- Strong customer focus with excellent communication and investigation skills.
- Knowledge of financial analysis and reconciliation of transactional cost data.
