Hyde is looking to recruit a Housing Scheme Officer. Hyde is one of the UK’s leading and award-winning providers of affordable homes in London, the South-East and surrounding areas. As a Housing Scheme Officer at Hyde, you will be working within the Specialist Housing team to provide effective management of housing services and support for older adults within our Later Living schemes. The role is responsible for fostering positive stakeholder relationships to support creating a safe environment for customers and visitors within the schemes.
Responsibilities- Undertake regular customer wellbeing calls and visits, making referrals for care needs assessments and safeguarding as required.
- Be the point of contact for customers in relation to any matters relating to communal services, including cleaning and grounds maintenance, building decorations, repairs and ASB.
- Lead on customer engagement, social events, and wellbeing activities.
- Carry out Health & Safety and Fire Safety compliance tests and inspections.
- Take a lead role in the financial management of scheme(s).
- Hold a valid UK driving licence and their own vehicle.
- Be approachable, friendly, and caring.
- Be customer focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have previous experience of housing management, social work, or a related field, with an understanding of later living concepts.
- Understand housing regulations, care standards, and best practices.
- Have good organisation and time management skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
