Would you like to join Hyde as a Contract Manager working on our PFI accounts? We're looking for a motivated and detail-focused Contract Manager to oversee long-term contractual arrangements with local authorities, funders and delivery partners. You'll make sure Hyde meets all financial, operational and performance obligations, while protecting our interests and ensuring services are delivered safely, effectively and in line with contract requirements.
What you'll be doing:
- Make sure all contractual obligations, performance standards and reporting requirements are met.
- Monitor KPIs, resolve issues early and maintain a strong understanding of contract documents.
- Represent Hyde at meetings with local authorities and partners.
- Keep accurate financial records, invoice correctly and monitor financial performance.
- Identify and manage financial and contractual risks and ensure full compliance.
- Manage governance processes including contract changes and reporting cycles.
- Build strong relationships with local authorities, funders, contractors and internal teams.
- Review contractor performance and support service improvements.
- Resolve stakeholder or customer issues promptly.
- Identify opportunities to improve service quality, efficiency and contract performance.
About you:
- You'll bring experience managing long-term housing contracts, ideally with local authorities or within housing or property services.
- You'll understand contract management, financial reporting and risk, and be confident interpreting complex documents.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Good negotiation and problem-solving ability.
- High attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
- A proactive approach to improving service delivery.
