External Affairs Officer London Bridge Up to £46,000 Hyde is looking for an External Affairs Officer to play a crucial role in influencing public policy to achieve great outcomes for our customers. As an External Affairs Officer at Hyde, you will help protect and promote our reputation by monitoring political, policy, and regulatory developments that could impact us or our customers. You’ll play a key role in shaping Hyde’s response to external changes, strengthening relationships with local, regional and national stakeholders, working across government and with sector stakeholders, and ensuring our voice is heard across the housing industry. Key Duties * Support Hyde’s engagement with government, MPs, councils, and housing sector bodies to influence key issues. * Coordinate Hyde’s participation in public affairs activity, events, and strategic campaigns that promote our and our customers’ priorities. * Monitor and analyse political, policy, and regulatory developments, providing insight and briefings for senior leaders. * Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring consistent messaging and effective communication to make sure Hyde is seen and heard in the right places. * Support media activity and communications that promote Hyde’s priorities and messages. * Produce briefings, presentations, and communications for internal and external audiences. * Work as a key part of the wider Communications Team.
