4 Year Fixed Term Contract
Hyde is looking for an Electrical Apprentice to join our collaborative and values-driven team. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a supportive environment that champions employee wellbeing, continuous learning, and long-term development.
As an Electrical Apprentice at Hyde, you will support our qualified electricians in delivering high-quality repairs, installations and maintenance across our housing stock. You’ll gain on-the-job experience while completing a recognised apprenticeship, working towards full electrical qualifications aligned with industry standards and safety regulations.
Please note: To be shortlisted for this role, you must hold GCSEs in Maths and English at grade 4-3 (or equivalent Functional Skills Level 2).
Key Duties
- Assist qualified electricians in delivering responsive repairs, remedial works, testing and installations.
- Maintain and manage tools, stock and electrical materials to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with residents while carrying out repairs in their homes.
- Learn and follow Health & Safety procedures, safe systems of work, and PPE requirements.
- Apply learning from your apprenticeship to develop fault-finding, wiring, testing and compliance skills.
