Based at THG Nutrition's flagship Omega manufacturing site in Warrington, you'll help protect the standards behind some of the world's leading nutrition brands, ensuring every product that reaches our customers is safe, compliant, and manufactured to the highest quality standards.

You’ll lead a team of Quality Assurance professionals, work closely with Production, Operations and Technical teams, and play a key role in driving a culture where quality is everyone's responsibility. From supporting audits and food safety compliance to leading investigations and continuous improvement projects, you’ll have a direct impact on both our products and our people.

What impact will I make?

  • Build and develop a high-performing Quality Assurance team, creating a culture of accountability, development and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality and customer standards, including HACCP, GMP, BRC and other regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee inspections, audits and product assessments across raw materials, production processes and finished goods.
  • Lead investigations into quality concerns, customer complaints and non-conformances, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective actions.
  • Use quality data and performance metrics to identify trends, reduce defects and improve product consistency.
  • Partner with Production and Operational teams to ensure quality standards are embedded throughout the manufacturing process and maintained during internal and external audits.

What will help me succeed?

  • Experience working within a Quality Assurance role in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Previous leadership, supervisory or team development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality management systems and auditing processes.
  • Familiarity with industry standards including HACCP, GMP, BRC and ISO.
  • Experience investigating quality issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ability to analyse quality data and use insights to drive improvements.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Qualification in Food Science, Microbiology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

  • HACCP, SQF Practitioner or other food safety or quality management certification.
  • Experience within a high-volume food manufacturing environment.
