We are THG, a global ecommerce group on a mission to be the global online leader in beauty and sports nutrition. Our portfolio of leading retailers and brands such as LOOKFANTASTIC, Myprotein, ESPA, Perricone MD, and Cult Beauty form our two core business areas: THG Beauty and THG Nutrition. From Manchester to New York, we’re powered by a team of over 2500 people who work together, lead by example, and think BIG.
About THG Nutrition: THG Nutrition is home to some of the world’s most trusted and best-loved wellbeing and nutrition brands, including Myprotein, the world’s largest online sports nutrition brand, alongside Myvegan, Myvitamins and MP Activewear. Our brands and people exist to break boundaries — to power and empower those who want more. We move fast, challenge convention, and build to win. These values shape how we work every day.
This is a high-impact role at the heart of THG Nutrition’s offline retail growth ambitions. As Senior Category Manager, you’ll own and shape the category strategy for offline retail channels, translating deep consumer and market insight into compelling ranges that win in-store. You’ll operate with significant autonomy, owning commercial decisions end-to-end — from range architecture and pricing through to performance optimisation and long-term category planning.
Working cross-functionally with Trading, Sales, Marketing, Product, Supply Chain and Finance, you’ll play a critical role in scaling Myprotein and our wider brand portfolio across wholesale, retail and physical distribution partners. If you’re commercially driven, data-led, and excited by building categories that perform in the real world, this role offers genuine scope, visibility and progression.
As a Senior Category Manager – B2B, you’ll:
- Own the offline retail category strategy for a defined product portfolio, driving sustainable growth in revenue, margin and distribution.
- Develop and deliver category plans aligned to wider THG Nutrition and brand commercial objectives.
- Lead range architecture, assortment optimisation, pricing and promotional strategy for offline retail channels.
- Analyse category and customer performance, translating data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Identify white space opportunities, range gaps and innovation priorities to fuel future growth.
- Partner closely with Sales and Retail partners to ensure ranges are compelling, competitive and commercially optimised.
- Collaborate with Product, Innovation and Supply Chain teams to bring new products to market successfully and with the consumer at the heart of decisions.
- Own forecasting inputs and support demand planning to ensure availability and optimal stock levels.
- Present category performance, insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders with confidence and clarity.
- Continuously track market, competitor and consumer trends to keep categories ahead of the curve.
- Shape the long-term category vision and strategy to meet the growing consumer demand for health and sports nutrition categories.
What skills and experience do I need for this role?
- Proven experience in category management, commercial analysis or buying within FMCG, nutrition, health or consumer goods (offline retail experience essential).
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to own and influence category-level decisions.
- Highly analytical, comfortable working with large datasets and translating insight into action.
- Strong leadership skills and team management experience.
- This role will require managing a current team and building out to meet our growth ambitions.
