Role Overview: We’re seeking a strategic and results-driven Procurement Director to lead our global sourcing and procurement strategy. This pivotal role will focus on the procurement of whey/dairy raw materials, commodities, and packaging, ensuring optimal cost, quality, and supply chain efficiency. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting Myprotein's growth by driving supplier relationships, operational excellence, and market-leading procurement practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a robust procurement strategy for whey/dairy raw materials, commodities, and packaging to support business growth and profitability.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure best-in-class terms, ensuring competitive pricing, consistent quality, and timely delivery.
• Build and manage strong supplier relationships, fostering collaboration and innovation while mitigating supply chain risks.
• Monitor global market trends, commodity prices, and industry developments to identify opportunities and manage risks effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Operations, and Finance, to align procurement activities with business objectives.
• Drive sustainability initiatives within the supply chain, ensuring ethical sourcing and environmental considerations.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing procurement team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the procurement function, ensuring financial targets are met.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in procurement, with a strong focus on whey/dairy raw materials, commodities, and packaging.
• Extensive knowledge of the global dairy and whey markets, including supplier landscapes, pricing dynamics, and market trends.
• Demonstrated success in managing high-value supplier negotiations and contracts.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics principles.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive results.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment, adapting to changing priorities.
• A passion for health, fitness, and Myprotein’s mission is a plus.
