About the Role
The Senior Influencer Executive will be responsible for managing and growing our influencer partnerships to drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales. This role encompasses the full influencer lifecycle - from recruitment and relationship management to campaign execution and performance optimization. You will manage a diverse portfolio of influencers across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram while working under clear KPIs and budget management.
Responsibilities:
- Research and discover influencer candidates in fitness, health, and nutrition fields
- Execute strategic outreach to achieve monthly influencer acquisition targets
- Negotiate contract terms with influencer candidates and optimize within budget constraints
- Handle onboarding processes including product sample shipping and brand guideline explanation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing influencer partners as primary point of contact
- Conduct regular check-ins to understand influencer needs and identify collaboration opportunities
- Coordinate influencer campaign briefs, timelines, and deliverables
- Review and approve influencer content to ensure brand alignment
- Register and update influencer information in internal systems
- Track performance metrics (engagement rate, reach, sales, etc.) and measure ROI
- Provide regular reporting in English (KPI achievement and budget execution status)
- Analyse data to identify top performers and optimization opportunities
- Monitor and manage influencer risks to ensure brand safety
- Develop influencer utilization strategies in collaboration with the marketing team
- Contribute to portfolio optimization balancing star, mid-tier, and emerging influencers
Requirements:
- 3+ years of practical experience in influencer marketing, social media marketing, or related fields
- Deep understanding of major social media platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram) and the influencer ecosystem in Japan
- Knowledge and industry understanding of fitness, sports nutrition, and health fields
- Proven relationship management and communication skills
- Strategic approach and negotiation skills for influencer acquisition
- Ability to execute tasks based on clear KPIs and budget management skills
- Native-level Japanese (required): For communication with influencers and Japanese internal teams
- Business-level English reporting skills (required): For report creation and communication with global teams
- Data analysis and strategy development capabilities based on performance measurement
- Risk management awareness and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills
