Why be a Mid-Weight Creative (12m FTC) at THG Beauty?
This is a maternity cover role that is for someone with exceptional taste and visual judgement. You understand how to take a clear idea or creative direction and translate it into beautiful, effective content across stills, video and graphic application. You know how to shape a shoot, guide content creation, and ensure everything lands consistently across channels. You’ll work closely with the wider Creative, Content and Marketing teams to art direct, execute and elevate creative output who owns bringing clarity, confidence and craft to how ideas show up in the real world. This is a hands‑on role: part art direction, part execution, part guardian of quality.
As a Mid-Weight Creative, you’ll:
- Art Direction & Creative Execution
- Lead and support art direction across campaigns and content, including stills and video.
- Ensure creative concepts are executed with consistency, clarity and strong visual hierarchy.
- Apply graphic design principles confidently across layouts, typography and composition.
- Work closely with motion and video teams to ensure stills and moving image feel cohesive.
- Content Translation & Application
- Shape how ideas are expressed across websites, social, paid media, CRM, in-store or VM where required.
- Ensure content feels intentional, not fragmented, across channels.
- Bring a strong understanding of how creative needs to flex between formats without losing impact.
- Partner closely with Creative Leads, Video Editors, Production, Content and Marketing teams.
- Brand & Taste Leadership
- Act as a guardian of LOOKFANTASTIC’s visual identity and tone.
- Bring a strong point of view on graphic application, layout and styling.
- Stay across trends in art direction, content and fashion/beauty visual culture.
What skills and experience do I need for this role?
A creative or designer with proven art direction experience. Comfortable working across stills, video and graphic systems. Confident translating ideas into executable creative frameworks. Highly collaborative, organised and calm under pressure. Known for strong taste, clear thinking and constructive feedback. Happy to be hands‑on while supporting the wider team. Strong background in graphic design and art direction. Experience art directing content shoots (stills and/or video). Excellent understanding of layout, typography and visual hierarchy. Experience working within established brand systems. Confidence presenting ideas and giving direction to others. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
DESIRABLE
Beauty, fashion or lifestyle experience. Experience working on integrated campaigns. Exposure to motion or video workflows.
