About the Procurement Team and the RoleThe Procurement team support departments in delivering innovative, externally supported solutions and ensuring we make commercially astute decisions across our supply eco-system. This role sits within the Raw Materials category, who manage all procurement relating to our raw materials sourcing across the beauty division. This role reports into the Head of Procurement, part of the Group Procurement team. This role is suited to someone with previous experience in buying raw materials. As a Buyer - Raw Materials you will be responsible for: Negotiating contractual clauses ensuring risk is appropriately agreedBusiness partnership with many internal functions including product Development, finance, supply chain and technical teamsExecuting strategic sourcing, choosing the correct channels and vendorsAbility to communicate contractual risk and opportunity to stakeholdersIdentify opportunities to structurally improve cost and productivity through supplier management Focus on supply chain management to ensure we have the right packaging, at the right time and in the right place Completing tenders and subsequent commercial analysis to report back to senior management on savings delivered / impact to the businessWhat skills and experience do I need for this role?
