Why be a Merchandising Admin Assistant at THG Beauty? The Merchandising team is responsible for the end to end management of stock within the business from planning and managing intake into the business and maximising the stock profile to drive sales and profit. Working in collaboration with buying, trading and commercial marketing to drive product opportunities, build brand relationships and meet business targets.
The Merchandising Admin Assistant will support the team with key administrative tasks as well as purchase order raising and managing the delivery schedule which includes chasing and tracking of orders to ensure goods are delivered in the agreed lead time. Working with household beauty names such as Aesop, The Ordinary, Elemis, Benefit and many more.
As a Merchandising Admin Assistant, you’ll:
- End to end Purchase Order management with long term focus on reaching optimum on site stock availability; ensuring that all orders are on track for on time delivery through maintenance of the team delivery schedule.
- Escalate and highlight critical path opportunities or concerns to line manager.
- Daily supplier communication regarding orders placed and upcoming deliveries.
- Updating the system with order feedback and amendments.
- Reviewing and resolving inbound issues with Supply and Warehouse teams; liaising with suppliers and buyers to resolve queries.
- Building collaborative working relationships with buying counterpart working towards department strategy.
- Supporting the AM and Merchandiser with excel reporting, analysis, data entry and general administrative duties.
- Heavy system usage across various platforms; ranging from PO raising, completing amendments and report distribution.

- Great attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Flexible in order to meet the needs of a fast paced trading environment.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data organisation and analysis e.g. SUM, COUNT, IF, XLOOKUP, PIVOTS.
- Ability to build strong relationships.
