About the Legal Team and the Role
This role will support the continued growth of the business, reporting into the Deputy General Counsel.
The THG Legal Team currently comprises 10 lawyers working across a variety of practice areas.
This is a hands‑on advisory role operating at pace within an entrepreneurial, international organisation.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders, supporting growth, innovation, and brand expansion.
This will be a generalist in‑house role, with the opportunity for exposure to a broad range of commercial, corporate, litigation, intellectual property and data protection matters across multiple jurisdictions.
The primary focus of the role will be to negotiate, draft and advise on a variety of commercial contracts, including:
As a Senior Legal Counsel you will be working on
- Supplier and customer contracts for the purchase of goods and/or services, distribution agreements and marketplace agreements;
- Manufacturing agreements (covering THG as manufacturer and as customer) across both the prestige beauty and sports nutrition sector;
- License agreements on behalf of THG (including both licensing in and licensing out of intellectual property rights).
What skills and experience do I need for this role?
- Law degree
- 2 – 5+ years’ PQE in a reputed law firm or the legal industry
- Holding a valid practising certificate
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Confidence to work closely with senior stakeholders in the business
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Highly motivated and reliable individual
- Ability to make sound judgements
