- We’re looking for an
- Editorial & Content Lead to shape and lead our editorial strategy across
Content Hub, You Tube, expert‑led content and emerging AI discovery experiences .
This is a strategic leadership role at the intersection of beauty, content, SEO, technology and commerce .
You’ll build content that strengthens Lookfantastic’s authority, drives organic growth and gives customers genuinely useful and inspiring experiences.
Working closely with
SEO, Social, PR, CRM, Creative, Product and Commercial , you’ll turn customer insight, search trends and business priorities into high‑impact content.
- What you’ll be doing
- Own and evolve the editorial strategy across owned channels.
- Develop annual and quarterly roadmaps across campaigns, launches, seasonal moments and evergreen content.
- Set editorial guidelines, governance and quality standards.
- Champion customer‑first, expert‑led storytelling and new content formats.
- Content Hub
- Own the long‑term strategy and performance of the Content Hub.
- Build topic clusters that strengthen topical authority across beauty.
- Identify opportunities through customer insight, search trends, culture and commercial priorities.
- Continuously optimise content journeys, UX, quality and discoverability.
- You Tube
- Define the You Tube strategy and roadmap.
- Develop scalable formats that educate, inspire and entertain.
- Ensure You Tube supports wider editorial, SEO, social and commercial objectives.
- Work with production teams to deliver high‑quality video.
- AI Discovery & GEO
- Lead Lookfantastic’s approach to
Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) .
- Develop content frameworks that maximise visibility across AI‑powered search and discovery.
- Structure content for AI retrieval, entity recognition, authority and citation.
- Partner with SEO across Google Search, AI Overviews and emerging AI platforms.
- Lead and develop the Editorial Content Creator/Producer and Copywriter.
- Provide creative direction, coaching and editorial feedback.
- Foster experimentation and continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships across SEO, Social, PR, Creative, Product, CRM and Commercial.
- Performance
- Set and monitor editorial KPIs.
- Use analytics, audience behaviour and search insight to continually improve strategy.
- Report on organic growth, Content Hub engagement, You Tube performance and AI discoverability.
- What we’re looking for
- Significant experience leading editorial or content strategy within digital publishing, ecommerce, media or consumer brands .
- Strong understanding of
SEO, content strategy and organic growth .
- Experience developing a
You Tube/video content strategy .
- Understanding of
AI search and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) .
- Exceptional editorial judgement and storytelling skills.
- Strong leadership, coaching and stakeholder management capability.
- A data‑driven, test‑and‑learn approach to content optimisation.
- Beauty, wellness, fashion or lifestyle experience.
- Digital PR and authority‑building experience.
- Experience with GA4, Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs or similar.
- Experience using AI tools to enhance content workflows.
- Strong understanding of beauty culture, creators and changing audience behaviours.
