About the Procurement Team and the Role

The Procurement team support departments in delivering innovative, externally supported solutions and ensuring we make commercially astute decisions across our supply eco-system.

This role sits within the Raw Materials category, who manage all procurement relating to our raw materials sourcing across the beauty division.

This role reports into the Head of Procurement, part of the Group Procurement team. Scope of the role covers the Beauty division.

This role is suited to someone with previous experience in buying raw materials.

The ideal candidate will be capable of working confidently with senior business leaders to ensure THG invest in the most suitable technology.

As a Buyer - Raw Materials you will be responsible for

  • Negotiating contractual clauses ensuring risk is appropriately agreed
  • Business partnership with many internal functions including product Development, finance, supply chain and technical teams
  • Executing strategic sourcing, choosing the correct channels and vendors
  • Ability to communicate contractual risk and opportunity to stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to structurally improve cost and productivity through supplier management
  • Focus on supply chain management to ensure we have the right packaging, at the right time and in the right place
  • Completing tenders and subsequent commercial analysis to report back to senior management on savings delivered / impact to the business

  • Experience in procurement and raw materials experience preferred
