- Supporting business-as-usual reporting needs and driving forward key finance and operational projects.
- Helping to shape and evolve the future architecture of BI at THG, including contributing to cloud migration strategies, integrating new technologies and services.
- Working with tools like Analysis Services, Tableau, Superset, and traditional reporting services to deliver meaningful dashboards and insights.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Consuming and integrating data from APIs and external sources into the data warehouse environment.
What skills and experience do I need for this role?
- 3–5 years of experience in BI/data engineering roles.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.
- Hands-on experience with the MS BI stack (SQL Server, SSRS, SSAS).
- Experience with Python for data manipulation and API integrations.
- Solid understanding of data modelling, ETL, and BI best practices.
- A problem-solver with a proactive mindset and excellent collaboration skills.
- Experience working with GCP or other cloud platforms.
- Data migration projects either to or from the cloud.
- Familiarity with financial datasets or finance-focused data workflows.
