We want to be the world's most empowering health movement, championing everyone to live healthier, more active lives.

Why be a BI Analyst in Nutrition at THG? THG is investing in bringing consistency and quality to how it measures and reports business performance. As BI Analyst for Nutrition, you will sit within the central Reporting & BI function — reporting to the Reporting Lead — but with a specific focus on building and maintaining the Tableau reporting suite for the Nutrition division. This means you are the person who knows the Nutrition dashboards inside out. You will own the day-to-day maintenance and evolution of the Nutrition reporting estate — ensuring that dashboards are accurate, up to date, and built to the standards set by the Reporting Lead. You will also work on developing new reporting capability as the division's needs evolve.

What you'll do:

  • Build, maintain and evolve the Tableau reporting suite for the Nutrition division — including trading dashboards, marketing performance views, customer metrics, operational KPIs and any other regularly used Nutrition reports.
  • Ensure all Nutrition dashboards are accurate, clearly documented, and built to the standards and design principles set by the Reporting Lead.
  • Respond to requests for new or updated dashboards from the Nutrition analytics team — working with stakeholders to understand requirements and translating them into well-structured, maintainable Tableau workbooks.
  • Proactively maintain existing dashboards — identifying when underlying data changes affect accuracy and resolving issues promptly.

Consistency & Standards:

  • Work within the reporting framework set by the Reporting Lead — applying consistent metric definitions, naming conventions and design standards across all Nutrition dashboards.
  • Collaborate with the Beauty BI Analyst to ensure consistency where the same metrics are reported across both divisions.
  • Flag any discrepancies between Nutrition and Beauty reporting approaches to the Reporting Lead.
  • Contribute to the ongoing rationalisation of the reporting estate — identifying duplicated or redundant dashboards and supporting the move towards a cleaner, more managed set.

Data & Technical:

  • Use SQL and BigQuery to connect Tableau to the right data sources — writing and maintaining the queries that power dashboards.
  • Work closely with the Nutrition engineering and analytics teams to understand the data available and ensure dashboards are built on reliable, well-understood data.
  • Support the migration of existing Tableau reports from on-prem data sources to BigQuery as that transition continues.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work with the Nutrition Data & Insight team on a day-to-day basis — understanding what they need from reporting and ensuring dashboards serve their analytical work.
  • Manage expectations clearly — communicating timelines for new builds or updates and flagging issues proactively.

What skills and experience do I need for this role?

  • Proficient in Tableau — able to build and maintain dashboards independently, including calculated fields, LOD expressions and performance optimisation.
  • SQL — able to write queries to extract and transform data for use in Tableau.
  • Attention to detail — data accuracy in dashboards is critical and you take pride in getting it right.
  • Good communication skills — able to understand stakeholder requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
  • Organised and reliable — dashboard maintenance requires consistent attention and responsiveness.
  • Experience with Looker or other BI tools alongside Tableau.
  • Familiarity with BigQuery or other cloud data platforms.
  • Understanding of e-commerce or sports nutrition/wellness metrics.
  • Experience with Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud administration.

What’s in it for me?

  • Access bespoke development programmes that have been designed and developed by our in-house L&D team.
  • Continued development through our upskilling programme that is delivered in partnership with an industry-leading training provider.
  • Enhanced Leave: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Don’t want to work on your birthday? We don’t either! Enjoy your day off on us! Enhanced maternity and paternity pay, depending on length of service. Up to 10 days compassionate leave. Buy back up to 3 days each year.
  • Access face-to-face and virtual appointments with our in-house GP.
  • Access our 247 Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) which is provided by Bupa.
  • State-of-the-art on-site gym. Access to our on-site physio.
