As a Delivery Lead, you will be an integral part of our project management team, responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of tech projects using a variety of methodologies with support from your line manager and wider team plus on the job learning. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the generation of solutions, validating and prioritising before driving implementation.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and requirements.
  • Develop a detailed project plan, including timelines, tasks, and resource allocation.
  • Build and lead a cross-functional team, assigning tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring collaboration among team members.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  • Maintain open communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and addressing concerns or changes.
  • Ensure that the project's deliverables meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Allocate resources effectively to ensure that the project has the necessary tools, equipment, and personnel.
  • Monitor project timelines and adjust as needed to keep the project on track.
  • Address issues and obstacles that arise during the project, finding solutions to keep the project moving forward.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and other relevant records.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project management efficiency.
  • Uses influencing and communication skills to guide and motivate stakeholders through complex challenges and projects.
  • Can see barriers, and goes for them rather than stops.
  • Anticipates problems based on previous learning.
  • Can guide others to find the correct solutions.
  • Not afraid of positive conflict, surfacing difficult issues to facilitate resolution.
  • Has tenacity and drive.
  • Hands on, not just there to facilitate – is committed to driving the resolution.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Experience within a retail ecommerce environment.
  • Project Management certifications (APM/Prince2/AgilePM/PSM).
