Key Responsibilities
- Plan and create engaging content across various platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X and YouTube.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify target audiences, industry trends, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to integrate social media plans with overall marketing campaigns.
- Plan and schedule content across social media platforms, ensuring consistent brand messaging.
- Create engaging and shareable content, including text, images, and videos.
- Manage the day-to‑day execution of social media campaigns, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Create compelling and visually appealing content – from phone‑shot content on shoots with our ambassadors, to editing Instagram Story templates promoting a new product, to briefing videographers on higher productions.
- Editing videos to optimize performance for each social media platform.
- Generate ideas that align with our brand's tone of voice and values.
- Collaborate with the influencer team to activate our ambassadors and drive engagement.
- Identify new opportunities to increase Myprotein’s reach across social media, including spotting new influencers, publishers and channels to collaborate with.
- Monitor and analyse social media performance metrics and KPIs to improve content and engagement.
- Manage social media communities and respond to customer inquiries and feedback.
- Stay up-to‑date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure that Myprotein is at the forefront of social media innovation.
Requirements
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Executive or similar role.
- Expertise in social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and others.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe suite, including Photoshop and After Effects.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform decision‑making.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Experience using third‑party publishing and analytics tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of the brand and passion for health, fitness, and nutrition – especially in weight lifting and hybrid training – is a plus.
