As an F&B Assistant you will be responsible for providing a first-class hospitality experience to our members and their guests, with a warm and friendly approach. Typical duties will include:
- Greeting and seating guests.
- Serving food and drinks.
- Taking food and drinks orders.
- Preparation for a successful service.
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the F&B areas.
- Learning and having full knowledge of beverage lists and menu items including garnishes and preparation methods.
- Being able to assist members or guests with any special requests or allergy requirements.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
Candidates will embody our Club values; excellence, responsibility and courtesy. We are looking for a food enthusiast, who is charismatic, with a can-do attitude. You will be outgoing and engaging, and we are looking for staff who are open to new challenges and eager to learn new skills. Training will be provided on shift by hospitality professionals. Previous hospitality experience is preferred.
THE DEPARTMENT
The Food & Beverage team are responsible for the member food and beverage outlets at the Club, as well as the running of events in its East Wing. For its members, the Club boasts a busy brasserie style restaurant, a fine dining restaurant and a bar. With regards to events, from meetings and conferences to weddings and awards ceremonies, the Hurlingham Suite is fully adaptable for formal or informal events depending on individual requirements.
