Are you an enthusiastic and committed General Practitioner looking to work within a supportive, innovative, and patient-centred environment? We are expanding our team and are inviting applications from Salaried GPs to join our established practices in the heart of Canary Wharf and the Isle of Dogs.

About Us
Wood Wharf Health Centre is a brand-new, purpose-built site within the exciting Canary Wharf living and leisure development. It forms part of the wider Island Medical Centre group. Across our sites, we pride ourselves on being friendly, flexible, forward-thinking and committed to high-quality patient care. We have a strong and supportive multi-disciplinary team, including GP Partners & Associate Partners, Salaried GPs, Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Clinical Pharmacists, Non-Prescribing Pharmacists, Social Prescribers, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Care Navigators. We serve a diverse population of over 17,000 patients at IMC/WW and 10,000 patients at DMC, and we pride ourselves on high patient satisfaction. We are also progressing toward accreditation as a training practice.

Workload & Session Structure
- Mix of face-to-face appointments, telephone consultations, and e-consults

- Regular weekly clinical meetings and case discussions
- Senior clinicians regularly available for same-day advice and second opinions – We have GPs with a range of interests including ophthalmology, dermatology, paediatrics, and neurology
- Open, approachable leadership team with a supportive, no-blame culture
- Highly efficient digital systems, including AccuRx, eConsult, EMIS Web and other modern workflows
