Permanent Term Time Only Part time - 5 Hours per week (Mon - Fri 1 hour per day). The Priory Learning Trust is looking for an enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join the heart of our community at East Huntspill Primary School. You will play a vital role in our daily school life - supervising outdoor play and fostering social skills, improving outcomes and providing first-class support for our students. This is an ideal opportunity for those looking to gain experience and start a career in education!

As part of this role you will:

  • Support children in their physical play by providing encouragement, support, advice and guidance.
  • Help develop positive behaviours working collaboratively with the existing lunchtime team and support staff.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience of working within a school is ideal but not essential.
  • Ability to adhere to working procedures and policies within the school environment.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Patience, motivation, flexibility and adaptability.

The Priory Learning Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All paid positions which involve working regularly within academies are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
