Used Car Technician in Brampton

Mayfield Ford Lincoln is looking for a Used Car Technician to join their team in Brampton. Our Automotive Service Technicians are integral to our day-to-day business. The Used Car Technician is responsible for skilled tasks in the mechanical repair and maintenance of pre-owned vehicles. This individual will also assist with Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and be responsible for the inspection and services of new vehicles when they are delivered to the dealership.

Pay: $35 to $40 per flat rate hourly.

Job Duties:

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned.
• Diagnose the source of any malfunctions and perform repair.
• Inspect vehicles for obvious damage and missing major components.
• Inspect vehicles for loose or misaligned items such as trim, doors, and hardware.
• Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Perform road tests using safe driving standards.

What We Look For:

• Valid 310S License.
• Experience working in a technician position.
• Valid Driver’s License (Class G) with a clean driving record.
• Experience with domestic brands would be considered an asset.
• Strong aptitude of technical/mechanical repairs.
• Good time management skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work well with a team.
• A desire to achieve the very best in customer service and teamwork.
