Mayfield Ford Lincoln is looking for a Junior Parts Inventory Controller to add to their team in Brampton. Working closely with the Parts Advisors and Parts Driver, the Parts Inventory Controller will learn to prepare parts inventory for delivery. Our Parts Inventory Controller moves parts in and out of the dealership in a timely manner and keeps an accurate record of inventory. This is a great entry-level position if you're looking to get into the automotive world and learn more about the Parts department.

Job Duties:
- Check with the Parts Manager, whole sales representative, Parts Advisors and any other team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
- Check with the shop daily to determine any immediate parts needs.
- Delivers parts to the shop when needed and distributes to the appropriate technician.
- Check payments received with the invoices for delivery.
- Prepare orders daily for shipment, delivery or pick-up.
- Retrieve parts purchased from stock.
- Review files weekly to keep track of back orders and return to vendor items.
- Issue credit for parts returned.
- Assist the back counter, when necessary.
- Receive and put away stock orders.
- Process core returns.
- Process warranty parts receiving and returns.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Parts Manager.
What We Look For:
- Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
- Previous parts experience is an asset but not required – training will be provided.
- CDK experience is considered an asset.
- Strong automotive knowledge.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn and utilize electronic parts catalogues.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- Strong communication skills.
