The HumanWare Project is the media house focused on longevity, investment, tech and health; it comprises a luxury print magazine, a documentary-grade film and podcast series, a fast-growing YouTube channel, a private membership community and a live events programme. Founded by Méline Liu, the brand also has a small, invitation-only membership, and a programme of intimate, exceptional gatherings - private Brain Dinners, retreats and flagship occasions.
We’re looking for someone to run our private membership, the Humanware Circle, and our events - to look after our members, and to design, produce and grow relevant, high-quality experiences.
We're looking for a membership and events director to oversee:
- The member experience: relationships, retention and the day-to-day care of a discerning, high-profile community
- Event design and delivery to a five-star standard
- Partner management across catering, venues and production
- Growing the events programme and, over time, the brand partnerships that support it
The right candidate will:
- Have a background in five-star hospitality, luxury events or private members’ clubs - essential
- Be a natural relationship-builder – discreet, polished, and at ease with high-net-worth and high-profile guests
- Have a proven ability to design and deliver events end to end, on brief and on budget
- Have commercial instinct – experience selling events, memberships or brand partnerships
- Be based in London or within an hour of it
The engagement:
- Contract (outside IR35) and invoiced monthly
- Four days a week, initial six months then rolling
- Competitive monthly retainer (indicatively £4,500-£6,000 for the four-day week), with performance upside on the events and partnerships you help grow
