About us The Humane Research Trust is the UK's leading medical research charity funding 100% animal‑free research. Since 1961, we have supported scientists to develop alternatives to animal use in scientific research, improving human health without animal cruelty.

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Marketing and Communications Manager based in Bramhall, Stockport, with flexibility for some work from home. You’ll lead the delivery of our marketing and communications strategy, working across digital, social, email, web and print. You’ll play a key role in supporter engagement, individual giving and income‑generating activity, while maintaining a strong, consistent brand.

About you Strong experience in marketing and communications, with a clear understanding of brand and audience. Confident creating and delivering engaging digital and offline campaigns for different audiences. Excellent copywriting, editing and storytelling skills, able to make complex topics clear and compelling. Digitally confident, with experience managing websites, social media, email marketing and analytics. Data‑driven, with the ability to use insights from CRM, website and campaign performance to improve impact. Highly organised and proactive, able to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Creative, detail‑focused and collaborative, with a genuine commitment to our mission. Experience working in the non-profit, research, or higher education sectors (Desirable but not essential).
