We are working with a leading global energy markets and pricing business looking to appoint a senior commercial lead focused on bio-methane markets and broader renewable gas coverage. The role sits at the intersection of commodity markets, pricing intelligence and commercial strategy, working closely with market participants across the rapidly evolving renewable gas and energy transition landscape. The successful individual will be responsible for developing senior relationships across producers, traders, utilities, brokers and broader market participants — understanding how clients operate, the benchmarks and pricing products they use, and where market intelligence and analytics solutions can add commercial value. This is a highly visible role with strong growth potential and significant exposure across both European and international leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business development activities across bio-methane and renewable gas markets
  • Develop senior commercial relationships across producers, traders, utilities and brokers
  • Understand client market exposure, trading activity and benchmark usage
  • Identify opportunities where pricing, analytics and market intelligence products can support commercial activity
  • Work closely with internal product and sales teams, handing off and supporting longer-term commercial relationships
  • Represent the business externally across the wider renewable gas ecosystem

What We’re Looking For

  • Ideally 5+ years’ experience within bio-methane - business development, trading, structuring, origination
  • Strong understanding of bio-methane market structure, pricing and commercial drivers
  • Background within trading, pricing, broking, analytics or related commodity market environments
  • Strong commercial instincts and ability to engage credibly with senior market participants
  • Existing industry relationships across renewable gas markets highly advantageous
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and strong communication skills
