Match and Event Day Staff – Various Positions (Casual)

  • Car Park Stewards (minimum age 18 due to working in a moving vehicle environment)
  • Courtesy Stewards (minimum age 18 due to working in Licensed areas)
  • Turnstile Operators

Up to £13.00 per hour, variable hours.

Our stewarding team members are integral to ensuring that all visitors on match and event days have a positive and enjoyable visit to the Accu Stadium. Each member of our match day team is instrumental in providing a safe and welcoming environment for everyone attending matches, pop concerts and similar events. We welcome applications from candidates who would like to join our diverse, friendly and customer focused team and help us to continue our excellent reputation of providing a safe environment in which to watch professional football and rugby matches, and pop concerts and festivals.

These roles are offered on a casual employment basis. The hours of work will vary due to the different start times of matches and events. Typically for a Huddersfield Town match, times would be:

  • 3.00pm Kick Off: Car Parks 10:00am – 3:15pm or 5:15pm; Courtesy 11:30am – 5:30pm; Turnstile Operators 1:15pm – 2:45pm
  • 7.45pm Kick Off: Car Parks 4:00pm – 9:45pm; Courtesy 5:00pm – 10:30pm; Turnstile Operators 6:00pm – 8:30pm

We are looking for candidates who appreciate the value and importance of outstanding customer service and who would like to be part of creating a friendly and special atmosphere for supporters. No previous experience is required; however, knowledge of the Club combined with excellent communication skills, a friendly and helpful approach to work, and the ability to work in a team are essential to this role. You must be confident to liaise with a diverse range of people in a consistently professional manner, also acting as a positive ambassador for Town Sports and Entertainment Group and Huddersfield Town AFC.
