About the role

We’re looking for a Social-First Video Editor to help create engaging and attention-grabbing videos to spread the word about the UK’s biggest AI video company – Synthesia!

You’ll be part of the Content & Community team, crafting a range of video content designed for reach, resonance, and virality. Think fast, fun, scroll-stopping edits for LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and beyond. You’ll play a key role in shaping how Synthesia shows up on social – from product drops and launch teasers to everyday social media campaigns!

Must-have skills/experience

• High-level video editing experience with a strong portfolio.
• Proven experience editing social-first content (organic social and/or paid ads).
• At least some basic motion design skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly iterative content environment.
• Experience of content ideation (you won’t just cut footage, you’ll bring ideas to help shape what gets made).
• An understanding of platform-specific best practices (e.g. TikTok vs LinkedIn vs YouTube Shorts) – knowing what will hook people in the first 3 seconds.

Some extra skills that would be awesome

• Shooting and basic production skills (especially for UGC-style or lo-fi footage).
• Experience using GenAI tools (e.g: ChatGPT Image, Google Veo3, Pika, etc.).
• Design skills
• B2B experience
