Role overview:
We are seeking a HR Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll lead and deliver client-facing HR transformation projects – so you’ll need to be a self-starter with strong project management discipline and a dose of pragmatism too. You’ll act as the engine behind project delivery — aligning stakeholders, tracking timelines, and driving results across diverse HR initiatives.

What you’ll do:
- Project management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of HR-related projects including, HRIS implementations such as the roll out of SAP SuccessFactor modules.
- Client engagement: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring high satisfaction, clear communication, and alignment on project goals.
- Scope & planning: Lead the development of the project initiation, through detailed project scope development, schedules, resource plans, and budgets in collaboration with our team and clients. From detailed day-to-day planning, to a high-level plan-on-a-page.
- Stakeholder coordination: Workshop and project meeting facilitation will be key, driving effective collaboration between The HR Fixers team, clients, and third-party vendors.
- Risk and dependency management: Identify potential risks and critical dependencies, proactively problem-solve, and ensure projects stay on track. Owning the management of the RAID to ensure ownership from the team and proactive resolution.
- Quality assurance: Maintain high standards of delivery and ensure projects align with client objectives and The HR Fixers’ methodologies. Conducting regular retrospectives / lessons learned along the way – collaborating within the project team and wider across The HR Fixers too.
- Delivery: Comfortable working in waterfall and agile methods for delivery.
- Continuous improvement: From the lessons learned, contribute to the continuous development of internal project management best practices and toolkits.
Skills and experience:
We are looking for an experienced individual, who has done this role before and can bring knowledge and know-how to our wider team. Someone who is adaptable and enjoys a challenge.
As this is a people-coordination role, we are keen for a candidate to have curiosity as a skill, and demonstrate emotionally intelligent leadership. As a remote team member, you’ll need to be a self-starter who takes the initiative.
- 3-5 years of experience in project management, with experience in HR delivery.
- Strong understanding of HRIS, HR functions, systems, and practices – preferably having implemented SAP SuccessFactors of Workday, but not essential.
- Strong relationship building skills, ability to establish a rapport quickly and communicates effectively
- Comfortable with ambiguity
- An agent for change with a passion for delivering excellence
- Exceptional organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project, JIRA, DevOPs etc.) and APMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification preferred
- Experience in consulting or client-facing environments is a plus

Remuneration package:
As a small, bespoke consultancy we can’t promise the world in your package. However, we have thought carefully about what we can offer. We work together across our team to define and constantly evolve our employee proposition.
