Role Overview
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a highly motivated and experienced RICS Chartered Surveyor to join its growing team. The successful candidate will undertake property inspections, valuations, and surveys, providing expert advice to clients on a wide range of property matters. This role demands a strong client focus, technical excellence, and the ability to manage projects independently and will cover either West London or South London.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct RICS Level 1, 2, and 3 Residential surveys and reports
- Undertake property valuations in accordance with RICS Red Book standards
- Advise clients on property condition, defects, repairs, and maintenance
- Deliver clear, concise, and accurate reports to clients within agreed timeframes
- Liaise with clients through phone consultations post-survey
- Ensure compliance with RICS standards and all relevant legislation
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property and market trends
- Contribute to business development and client relationship management
Requirements
- A minimum qualification of AssocRICS or MRICS
- Strong experience in building surveying, ideally within a residential/commercial environment
- Ability to work across either South or West London
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Proficient with survey software and digital reporting tools
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
