The Opportunity:
Our client is a premier specialist importer and packer with a prestigious, long-standing exclusive partnership with one of the UK’s leading high-end retailers. Operating from a state-of-the-art facility in Evesham, they are the engine room behind some of the most recognisable products on British shelves. Following the appointment of a new Managing Director and a fresh vision for the site, the business is entering a significant period of modernisation and investment. We are looking for a hands-on HR Generalist who wants to be at the heart of this transformation.
The Role:
This is an operational role designed for a "doer", someone who thrives in the buzz of a live production environment and enjoys seeing the immediate impact of their work on the shop floor.
Your core focus areas:
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Leading the end-to-end talent journey for a workforce of over 400 employees, ensuring the site is always staffed with high-calibre talent.
- ER Coaching: Acting as a visible partner to line managers. You won’t just advise from afar; you will be in the room leading disciplinaries and grievances, coaching managers to become better leaders.
- People Development: Identifying training gaps and rolling out essential programs on performance management, absence, and welfare.
- Operational Excellence: Managing the vital "day-to-day" HR administration and documentation required to keep a high-volume site compliant and safe.
Why Join This Business?
- Backed by a major wider Group, providing the career opportunities of a large firm with the "family feel" of a local site.
- Report directly to a supportive, newly promoted HR Manager but be part of a wider HR team.
- 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
- Optional Company Share Scheme & Life Assurance
- Medical Expenses Cashback Scheme
- Enhanced Family-Friendly Policies
- Free On-site Parking
Who You Are
- You are likely an HR professional from a Manufacturing, Logistics, or Retail background who understands that HR in this industry happens on the move, not just behind a screen.
- You are resilient, organised, and ready to take ownership of a busy, varied desk.
- You have a "can-do" attitude and aren’t afraid to ask questions or suggest new ways of working.
- You can talk to anyone, from the warehouse floor to the MD’s office.
- You enjoy a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same.
- Ideally CIPD Level 3/5, but for the right person with the right attitude, we are completely open.
