Location: Glenrothes office. This full‑time role requires 5 days a week onsite.

Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity for a full‑time Employee Relations Advisor to join our friendly team.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting our HR Consultants through the provision of generalist, proactive support on a range of employee‑relations issues.
  • Providing an efficient service for our clients.
  • Leading and managing complex and sensitive ER cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence management, redundancy and appeals.
  • Coaching and supporting line managers to build their ER capability and confidence in handling people matters.
  • Advising on employment law and internal policies, ensuring a fair and consistent approach.
  • Managing the email inbox and responding to clients in a timely manner.
  • Answering telephone calls from our clients on all ER matters, providing a timely response and solution.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in an Employee Relations Advisor role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and best‑practice ER case management.
  • A coaching mindset with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
  • Comfortable managing a varied and high‑volume caseload with a proactive and solutions‑focused approach.
  • Experience of advising on redundancy processes is a plus.
  • Resilient, flexible, assertive and confident in approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a busy and varied workload.
  • Excellent stakeholder, people and change management skills.
  • Customer‑focused approach.
  • Problem‑solving ability in a fast‑paced business.
  • CIPD or employment law qualification is a plus.
