About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator & Receptionist to join our Administration team.
This is an ideal role for someone with previous office or administrative experience who enjoys variety, takes pride in delivering a high standard of service and is confident dealing with clients both in person and over the telephone.
You will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the practice, providing a professional and welcoming first point of contact for our clients while supporting the wider team with a broad range of administrative responsibilities.

What you'll be doing
Your responsibilities will include
- Acting as a professional and welcoming first point of contact for clients, both in person and over the telephone.
- Answering incoming calls and directing enquiries to the appropriate member of the team.
- Managing general reception duties and helping to ensure clients receive an excellent level of service.
- Filing, scanning and maintaining documents within our electronic archive and filing systems.
- Submitting accounts and tax returns to Companies House and HMRC.
- Managing elements of the client onboarding process, including identity verification and setting clients up on internal systems.
- Raising client fees and communicating directly with clients where required.
- Supporting credit control activity, including monitoring and following up outstanding fees.
- Providing administrative support to the Managing Director and wider team.
- Assisting with other general administrative duties to help ensure the smooth and efficient running of the office.
About you
- Previous experience working within an office, administration or reception environment.
- Strong IT skills and confidence using a range of computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional, friendly and confident manner when dealing with clients.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive and flexible approach, with a willingness to support colleagues and take on a variety of tasks.
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering a high standard of work.
Experience within an accountancy, financial services or other professional services environment would be advantageous, although this is not essential if you have strong transferable administrative experience.
