Fife (covering all areas across the Central Belt) Full time Permanent

The HR Booth are delighted to be recruiting an Electrician to join GSM Electrical Fife Limited on a permanent basis. The role is based in Dalgety Bay, Fife. Working as part of a small team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional, and experienced electrician to join our team on a full-time basis working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

About GSM Electrical

GSM Electrical is a long-established business based in Dalgety Bay covering the central belt of Scotland. The company undertake all electrical work in the domestic, commercial, and industrial markets carrying out all aspects of design, installation, maintenance, testing and fault diagnosis.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing domestic and commercial electrics.
  • Electrical testing, including electrical certification for rental properties.
  • Fault finding and reporting.
  • Installing solar pv and battery storage systems (training can be provided on this).
  • Installing EV chargers (training can be provided on this).
  • Updating job sheets.
  • Communicating with clients and colleagues in a professional manner.

Additional training is always available if required.

Person Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an electrician.
  • Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations.
  • Must have 18th edition and driving licence.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary range is £37,000 - £45,000 per annum.
  • Company vehicle.
  • Company pension.
  • 30 days holiday entitlement per year + an extra day for your birthday if it falls on a working day.
  • Overtime available at time and a half.

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
