Company Description
We’re looking for a 6‑month fixed‑term Reservations Agent to provide brilliant and genuinely helpful customer service for every guest looking to stay in our London Hoxton hotels.
London is where it all began for Hox, and our four sites – the Hoxton, Shoreditch, Holborn, Southwark, and Shepherd’s Bush – embody the Hoxton mood perfectly. Set across a series of lively, interesting city neighbourhoods, our London hotels are packed with individual design vibes; whether we’re reviving existing buildings or creating exciting new spaces.
What you’ll do
- Manage new and existing individual room reservations through telephone, email, and website reservations.
- Anticipate needs and proactively provide solutions so that our guests’ expectations are not only met but exceeded.
- Keep an eye on our booking channels.
- Maximise revenue and identify sales opportunities.
- Work with corporate clients, bookers, and agents.
- Communicate with the Front Office Team or Restaurants Teams to facilitate the guests’ stay.
- Step in for the Reservations Supervisor or Manager when needed.
Qualifications
- A previous experience in hotel reservations is preferred but not mandatory – it’s all about how you contribute to the team!
- Proficiency in another language is a plus (French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch).
- You’re great with computers and on the phone.
- Since we’re opening in several exciting places, speaking additional lingos is an advantage.
