The Hoxton, Southwark is our third location in London, only a skip & a hop away from the South Bank. 192 rooms, a bustling ground‑floor restaurant, bar and terrace, The Apartment, a unique meeting & events space, a roof‑top restaurant and bar with indoor and outdoor seating, and a brand‑new coworking space spread over six floors.
What you’ll do
- You’ll add that extra special touch to our guests’ experience by creating a culture of recognising and delighting our guests throughout the whole team; you’ll turn every guest into a regular.
- Both guest and team experience will be at the heart of all you do. You’ll lead your team of hosts by example, keeping them involved and motivated; making them feel empowered and supported, confident in providing top Hox experiences for our guests and comfortable turning to you with questions.
- Have a firm grip of the CRM booking system, keeping our data up to date and closely managing the Restaurant book across the day and for the weeks ahead.
- Work closely with the management to deliver a consistently excellent experience in our spaces.
Qualifications
- A shining personality who has a genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience. You will be the face of the hotel for our guests.
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar hospitality Host / Front of House / Maître’D management role in a busy, bustling environment.
- Experience using CRM booking systems and table management.
- Exceptional attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment, juggling many things at once, but always dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s.
