I’m looking for a Head Chef to lead our vibrant kitchen and bring a fresh, innovative approach to a Peruvian‑inspired menu in a lively, full‑service restaurant.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a large, dynamic kitchen team of chefs, cooks and prep staff.
  • Drive menu innovation and create a culture of continuous improvement while maintaining a framework of simple, classic favourites.
  • Ensure exceptional guest and team experience by setting high standards, offering coaching and creating an empowering environment.
  • Manage costs across the kitchen – labour, food, waste – to achieve profitability while preserving quality and brand integrity.
  • Collaborate with front‑of‑house staff to guarantee a seamless service for all guests.
  • Oversee kitchen health & safety, quality control, and menu documentation.
  • Represent the brand in restaurant events, internal initiatives and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years as a Head Chef or senior kitchen leader in a bustling, high‑volume environment.
  • Proven experience managing large kitchen teams and inspiring collaboration.
  • A passion for creativity and a commitment to maintaining brand standards through the menu.
  • Strong leadership skills, a hands‑on attitude and an ability to empower others.
  • High culinary knowledge of fresh, provenance‑centric ingredients and the ability to source them.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills with a positive, proactive mindset.
  • Resilience in a fast‑paced kitchen while keeping calm under pressure.
  • Proficiency in cost control and menu pricing.
