We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join the Llama Inn team, based at The Hoxton, Shoreditch – our first hotel – founded in a former car park, and just like the neighbourhood, has evolved into a fixture of the East London scene. Shoreditch has become one of the most happening areas of London, located at the centre with 210 bedrooms, the Apartment, and two in‑house restaurants – Bambini and Llama Inn.

Llama Inn: A free‑wheeling, modern approach to Peruvian cooking, offering an exciting menu of ceviche, small plates, sharing dishes, natural wine and standout cocktails at our rooftop Peruvian restaurant in Shoreditch.

What you'll do:

  • Produce delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner options for our guests by running a section in our busy kitchen.
  • Nurture and develop the talent of the kitchen team, creating an environment that brings out the best in them and where they can be themselves.
  • Ensure operations run smoothly, orders and deliveries are handled efficiently, and our food hygiene standards are sky‑high.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef on ideas and techniques that keep our kitchen creative and ever‑changing, constantly striving for excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working as part of a kitchen team in a similar sized restaurant.
  • Passion for fresh ingredients and strong flavours.
  • Individualistic, looking for a place where you can be yourself; no clones in suits here.
  • Positive impact orientation, leaving customers with a memorable experience.
  • Non‑prescriptive; we leave egos at the door and focus on getting things done.
