Overview
Monday to Thursday 9:00am to 3:20pm, Friday 8:40am to 3:20pm (Term-Time only). 29.5 hours per week / 39 weeks per year (part-time, temporary). Salary: £17,321.34 FTE per annum (Based on work pattern).
Responsibilities
- Join our dedicated classroom teams as Special Needs Assistants to provide additional pupil support.
- Act as a positive, professional role model to students and support their progress and learning under the direction of the class teacher.
- Use creative and specialised SEN strategies across the school to support pupils.
- This role is appointed on a temporary basis linked to student funding.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Previous experience in this field is advantageous but not required as comprehensive induction and training are provided to all new employees.
- Evidence of Right to Work in the UK prior to commencement of employment is required.
- As part of UK immigration compliance, Home Office stipulated documentation must be provided prior to interview.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 provisions regarding spent convictions; failure to disclose may result in dismissal or disciplinary action. As well as identity verification, successful candidates will undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure.
