The Housing Network are currently recruiting for a People Performance Lead to work in Luton. We are the Housing Network (THN), a purpose-led organisation working in partnership with the YMCA to support our communities. We are in an exciting period of growth and are looking for experienced and passionate people to help us support vulnerable individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
The People Performance Lead will be responsible for:
- Manage a caseload of ER matters - including disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, and capability - from initial query through to resolution
- Maintain accurate case records and contribute to ER MI and reporting
- Support the delivery of manager-facing resources: one-pagers, toolkits, guides, and FAQs that help managers handle conversations and cases with confidence
- Build partnering relationships with managers and team leaders across THN - being visible, accessible, and trusted
- Contribute ideas for improving HR processes, templates, and the overall service experience
- Support the Head of HR and CPO in the design and roll out of an effective performance management system
The People Performance Lead will have:
- Previous experience in an HR Advisory or HR Generalist role
- Sound working knowledge of employment law - able to advise confidently on common ER scenarios
- Experience managing or supporting ER casework (disciplinaries, grievances, sickness absence, capability)
- Comfortable coaching and advising managers who are not HR specialists
- CIPD Level 5 or above (or working towards)
