Role Overview
What is it?
The People Administration Coordinator works alongside the AOP department providing dedicated People administration and onboarding coordination across AOP services. Acting as the key link between AOP and the People Team, the role coordinates the new-starter journey from day one, including systems and equipment preparation, induction, local handover and early onboarding.
The role maintains clear oversight of each new starter, ensuring actions have clear owners, deadlines are monitored, outstanding requirements are followed up and issues are escalated promptly. Line managers remain responsible for the local onboarding experience, while the Coordinator ensures that the teams involved are connected and that actions do not fall between them.

-
Confirm that technology has been tested or confirmed as ready by the appropriate team before the starter moves into the field.
-
Where something will not be ready, escalate this before the start date.
-
Coordinate any approved alternative arrangements where an IT issue cannot be resolved before the employee starts.
