Maintenance Operative - Kettering/Northampton
Salary - £35,000 Per Annum
Working Hours - Monday Friday, 09:00 - 17:30
Are you an experienced Maintenance Operative, looking to join at an exciting time of growth?
If you are an experienced Maintenance Operative, working in an accommodation-based setting, helping to maintain a great service for those who need us most, this could be the role for you!
- Looking for an opportunity to use your skills, experience and commitment to transform the lives of highly vulnerable people
- Experienced working with all aspects of responsive property maintenance as well as planned maintenance, providing safe accommodation for vulnerable individuals and families
What you'll be doing:
- Carry out scheduled work on void properties to bring back up to a high standard and in accordance with the Council's targets prescribed in the contract
- Travelling from property to property within a specific region
- Oversee maintenance of common areas
- Basic carpentry, including door hanging and changing locks
- Painting and decorating, basic plumbing and electrical work
- Ensure the garden area is clear including fencing
