We are the Housing Network (THN), a purpose‑led organisation working in partnership with the YMCA to support our communities. We are looking for experienced and passionate people to help us support vulnerable individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
This is a varied position where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will be adaptable, eager to learn, and comfortable operating in a changing financial landscape, with the support of an experienced leadership team. Collaboration is key to success in this role. You will work closely with colleagues across the finance function and the wider business, building strong relationships to drive the best outcomes.

What you’ll be doing:- Support production of month end reporting from Trial Balance.
- Continually assess and review financial processes to ensure they are "fit for purpose" and ask the "why".
- Assist in the preparation, review, and timely resolution of balance sheet reconciliations, proactively identifying and investigating variances.
- Contribute to the preparation and submission of VAT returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and statutory deadlines.
- Oversee and review sales invoice process every month.
- Partner within the business to problem solve in real time.
- Partner with the Financial Controller and Finance Manager on project‑led workstreams.
- Act as a role model within the business and champion the values that are agreed to be core to our corporate purpose and culture.
- In addition to the above, the role may involve other tasks and activities that reasonably relate to managing the properties and supporting the resident.
