Cleaning Operative (Part Time)

Hourly Rate - Β£13.46 Per Hour

Working Hours - 4 Hours Saturday, and 4 Hours Sunday (8 Hours Total)

We are in an exciting period of growth and are looking for experienced and passionate people to help us support vulnerable individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

Are you an experienced Cleaning Operative, looking to join at an exciting time of growth and be part of an organisation that makes a difference?

About you:

  • Cleaning experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • IT skills and ability to confidently use applications to report works
  • Extremely well organised
  • Have a high standard of cleaning

What you'll be doing:

  • Carry out scheduled work on void rooms to bring back up to a high standard and in accordance with the Council's targets prescribed in the contract
  • Cleaning of rooms/communal areas as directed, ensuring that all rooms/communal areas are maintained to a high quality standard
  • Cleaning void rooms to prepare them for new residents.
  • Remove rubbish and dispose of correctly.
  • Check kitchen and laundry room appliances are clean and free from hazards and common part areas are free from hazards and are clean as directed regularly
  • Ensure that the communal areas are hygienic and well maintained.
  • Report any repairs to the maintenance office team.
  • Carry out sharps sweeps
  • Follow all COSHH and company polices
