Thorpeness Golf Club and Hotel are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Chef to join their kitchen team as a Sous Chef. The Hotel Folk have a fantastic opportunity as they are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Sous Chef to join their team at Ogilvie's Restaurant based at Thorpeness Golf Club and Hotel, and also covering our leading coastal events venue at Thorpeness Country Club.

We are looking for a professional and hard-working Senior Sous Chef with a passion for food, who will be able to support the Head Chef in managing and motivating the kitchen team. You must have a minimum of 3 years' previous experience in a sous chef position in a hotel or restaurant which must include a la carte restaurant and banqueting knowledge. You will be required to assist the Head Chef to plan and deliver balanced menus that offer interest, quality and are to a consistently high standard. You will deputise and have total responsibility for the Kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence, and work alongside and supervise a team of 8 chefs and 12 kitchen porters.
