The Hotel Folk are looking for an experienced Reception and Events Manager to work at The Swan at Lavenham Hotel & Spa. You will be fully responsible for the supervision of reception and events ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests and potential guests in line with the requirements of AA four red star quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Fully responsible for the supervision of reception and events ensuring an exceptional experience for guests and potential guests in line with the requirements of AA four red star quality standards.
- Manage Duty Management responsibilities on a rota basis.
- Full‐time role working 40 hours per week including evening and weekend work on a rota basis.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years recent previous experience in a similar role in a similar organisation (luxury hotel) covering reception and events and including use of complaint handling protocols.
- Minimum of 2 years recent previous experience working in a hotel environment in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Previous experience working in a 2AA rosette establishment or in a spa environment would be an advantage.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills and dedication to providing guests with a signature "blow-your-socks-off" hospitality experience.
